Shop local from our room full of craft stalls from local queer artists. A perfect opportunity for a bit of Christmas shopping.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Live Music in the cafe<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Enjoy free live music with your lunch or latte as Queertawe participants and queer musicians from across South Wales perform short sets throughout the day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Live Theatre & Comedy Performances in the Idris Room<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

11am<\/strong><\/mark> A Family Event <\/em>a place to meet other families and enjoy activities together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

12pm<\/strong><\/mark> The Butterfly & the Snail<\/em>. Bring the kids along to this creative reading of a beautiful children\u2019s story about understanding asexuality from Queertawe participant Dee Vaughan<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1pm<\/strong><\/mark> Youth Takeover<\/em>. In collaboration with Mess Up the Mess, Good Vibes, People Speak Up, New Heights and Future Blood expect a lively response to the theme of \u201cBelonging\u201d as our brilliant young people take to the floor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3pm<\/strong><\/mark> Q&A<\/em> with Andy Newbery, Director Series 3 Heartstopper.
We’re absolutely thrilled to confirm that Andy Newbery, director of the latest Netflix\u00a0series of Alice Oseman’s\u00a0gorgeous\u00a0queer graphic novels, is stopping by for a Q&A session following our youth takeover.
Get the inside story on this must-see series, find out more about Andy\u2019s route into directing and learn why it’s the series he wishes he’d had when growing up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4:30-5.30pm<\/mark><\/strong> Speak the Words.<\/em> Queertawe is packed with poets who love to perform. Expect poems and monologues on grief, joy, and everything in between.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5:30-7pm<\/mark><\/strong> From the Queer Heart. <\/em>Hilarious and heart-wrenching scenes and sketches from our participants. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
